Terms of service.

The short version: nothing up front, £99 a month once you're live, a 12-month minimum, and you own the site from day one. Nothing in the small print you wouldn't expect.

Who you're dealing with

Loudhook is run by Tom Kendall, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. These terms apply to any Loudhook plan. If anything here is unclear, email[email protected] and we'll explain it in plain English.

The plan and the price

One plan: £99 a month, including VAT, covering everything listed on the pricing section - the build, hosting, SSL, security and backups, your domain and a professional email address on it, local SEO and Google Business Profile setup, reviews and maps, content changes within 48 hours and a monthly report. There is nothing to pay up front and no extras. The price is fixed for the life of your plan.

The preview

When you enquire, we build a working preview of your site and send you a private link, normally within 72 hours. The preview is free, you don't give us any payment details to see it, and if you don't want to go ahead you simply say so - you owe nothing and we delete the preview.

Going live and payment

To take the site live you set up a monthly direct debit through GoCardless. Nothing is collected until the site launches; the first £99 is taken on the day you go live and then on the same day each month. If a payment fails we'll let you know and retry before anything happens to the site.

The 12-month minimum

Because we build the site for nothing up front, the plan has a minimum term of 12 months from the day you go live. After that it rolls month to month, and you can end it at any time with a month's notice.

Money-back guarantee

If within 30 days of going live you decide it isn't for you, tell us and we'll refund what you've paid and end the plan - no questions, no minimum term.

What we need from you

Not much: a conversation about the business, your photos and answers to a few questions, reasonably promptly. We write the words. You confirm that anything you supply (text, images, logos, reviews) is yours to use.

Ownership

The site is yours from day one: the domain is registered in your name, and the design and content are yours. If you leave after the minimum term we'll hand over the site, the domain and everything needed to host it elsewhere, tidily and without drama. We may show the finished site in our portfolio and say we built it, unless you'd rather we didn't - just ask.

Changes and support

Content changes - prices, photos, opening hours, new services - are included and done within 48 hours of you asking. Bigger changes of direction (a redesign, new features beyond the plan) get a price agreed in writing before any work starts, so there are never surprise invoices.

The sensible legal bit

We'll carry out all work with reasonable skill and care. We're not liable for things outside our control - third-party outages, changes to search engines or AI platforms, or content you supply - and our total liability under a plan is capped at the amount you've paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

The law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version appears on this page with an updated date below. The terms that apply to your project are the ones in place when you booked.
